Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website sends to the user's device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when visited. They allow the website to store and retrieve information about navigation, user preferences or behaviour within the site. The term "cookies" also covers similar technologies, such as local storage or tracking pixels, insofar as they perform equivalent functions.
2. Teciforp's cookie policy
Teciforp adopts a privacy-by-default approach. The teciforp.com website uses only the cookies strictly necessary for its correct operation and, where applicable, analytical cookies that do not allow individual user identification.
Teciforp does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies or social network cookies (such as "like" buttons or widgets that load third-party resources).
3. Types of cookies used
Technical or essential cookies
These are indispensable for the website to function. They allow the user to navigate, access restricted areas, remember language choice or keep an active session. They do not require prior consent under Spanish LSSI-CE.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|
| teciforp_lang | Remember the user's selected language | 1 year | Teciforp |
| teciforp_session | Maintain the session during navigation | Session | Teciforp |
Analytical cookies (when active)
These allow the website's audience to be measured and aggregated statistics to be obtained on the most visited pages, average navigation time or device type. Teciforp uses privacy-friendly analytics solutions, without collection of persistent unique identifiers or individual profiling. These cookies require prior consent when used.
At the time of drafting this policy, Teciforp does not use external analytics tools such as Google Analytics. If such tools are incorporated in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly and the user will be able to grant or withhold consent through the corresponding banner.
Third-party cookies
Currently Teciforp does not use third-party cookies. If services requiring their use are integrated in the future, this will be reported in detail in this policy and the user's prior consent will be requested.
4. Cookie management by the user
The user may accept, reject or revoke at any time the consent given for the installation of non-essential cookies, through the cookie management panel available on the website (when cookies requiring it are used) and through the browser settings.
The main options for managing cookies in browsers are:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari (macOS / iOS): Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Disabling strictly necessary cookies may negatively affect the functioning of certain areas of the website.
5. Cookie retention
Session cookies are automatically deleted when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain on the device for the period indicated in the table above or until the user manually deletes them.
6. International transfers
The cookies currently used by Teciforp are first-party and do not involve international data transfers.
7. Modifications to the cookie policy
Teciforp may modify this Cookie Policy to adapt it to legislative, jurisprudential or technical changes. Users are advised to review this policy periodically. The version in force will always be accessible at teciforp.com/cookies.
